Our Mission
To operationalise high-integrity climate cooperation under the Paris Agreement by supporting countries and project partners through policy, technical assistance, and institutional capacity — ensuring transparency, ambition, and national ownership in every step.

Vision
We envision a future where Pacific Island nations play a leading role in shaping and benefiting from international climate cooperation. Our vision is grounded in the belief that carbon markets should deliver real, measurable emissions reductions while upholding the highest environmental and social integrity standards — with Pacific Islands setting the standard on how compliance markets should be run to maximise impact.
By supporting countries to engage in Article 6 with confidence and ownership, we aim to help build a climate finance ecosystem that is inclusive, accountable, and rooted in national development priorities. Through transparency, capacity building, and regional partnerships, we seek to transform carbon markets into tools for both global ambition and regional impact across the Pacific.
Our approach is designed to integrate with existing national governance structures, rather than operate in parallel. We work directly with governments, institutions, and project proponents to embed technical and policy solutions within country systems — ensuring long-term sustainability and institutional ownership.
Whether we're developing methodologies, supporting project authorisation, or strengthening MRV systems, our work is always grounded in national contexts and guided by internationally recognised standards. We prioritise collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and adaptive support to ensure that countries can operationalise Article 6 in ways that align with their climate goals, legal frameworks, and development needs.
We also actively facilitate cooperation between Pacific governments — helping to harmonise approaches, share lessons, and build collective capacity to engage in international climate markets with confidence and unity.
